Avery’s Now 2 Years Old:

• Avery had her 2nd birthday party at Build-A-Bear Workshop and built an amethyst Bear named “Twinkle”
• Avery know’s her ABC’s and sings the song all day long
• Avery can count to 10
• Avery takes both a Dance class (Rockin Tots) and a Gymboree Class
• Avery’s favorite food is Peanut Butter and Jelly
• Avery’s favorite song is “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”
• Avery’s favorite show is the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse
• Avery went to her first “show”- Playhouse Disney and saw Mickey and Friends
• Avery got her first Haircut at Cartoon Cuts in Columbia Mall on December 7th of 2008
• Avery is obsessed with going to the mall to see Santa Claus- Tis the season….
• Avery’s favorite person in the whole world is her baby sister- she walks around saying, “I love you so much sister”   ….. Awwwwww
• Avery is going pee pee on the potty
• Avery knows (and tells everyone) that she is beautiful… LOL

All about Avery at 12 Months…

• Avery weighs 18 lbs and 13 oz (25th Percentile)
• Avery has been walking now for over 3 months (began walking on July 16th)
• Avery drinks out of her sippy cup and feeds herself with her fingers
• Avery loves to have Dance Parties and shake her Groove Thang,….
• Avery dances ANYTIME she hears music
• Avery’s favorite show is the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse… O’ Toodles!!!!
• Avery measured exactly 30 inches tall
• Avery’s head measured in the 25th percentile (still has a little noodle)
• Avery loves to be tickled, so she tries to tickle you to get you to tickle her- It’s freakin cute!!!
• Avery has 5 teeth and a few more on the way in- teething is no fun for our little munchkin
• Avery’s favorite toy is her dog Kayla- she loves to torture Kayla, but loves to love her too!
• Her other favorite toy is her Learning Puppy that teaches us body parts and plays her favorite songs
• Avery’s favorite song is the Itsy Bitsy Spider
• Avery’s favorite foods are Hotdogs, Pancakes, and Macaroni and Cheese
• Avery’s favorite word is Uh-Oh
• Avery is obsessed with wearing her tennis shoes- she loves that her Elmo shoes light up when she walks
• Avery has Mommy’s curls, but still has Daddy’s dark skin
• Avery’s eyes change colors between green and brown
• Avery loves to brush her teeth and loves to get showers, but does not like to take baths
• Avery had her 1st trip to the Emergency Room just days after her 1st BD- NO FUN!!!!
• Avery’s favorite book is The Lady with the Alligator Purse

All about Avery at 6 Months….

• Avery weighed in at 15lbs and 3oz (50th percentile)
• Avery was sitting up all by herself at just 5 months
• Avery loves to eat her fingers- they are a tasty treat
• Avery is EXTREMELY ticklish under her arms and on her belly
• Avery loves to dance- Nightly Dance parties are her favorite!!!
• Avery LOVES when mommy and daddy sing to her- and yes, she tries to sing along too!
• Avery is a giggle monster- and quite a chatty cathy too!
• Avery is a HUGE SCAM ARTIST!!!!- believe us, it’s TRUE!!!
• Avery measured 26 inches in height/length (50-75th percentile)
• Avery’s head measured just 16cm (25th percentile)
• Avery loves to watch TV and tries her best to play with Mommy and Daddy’s computer
• Avery will stop crying if she sees herself in the mirror
• Avery actually “walked” from one couch to the other right before her 6 month birthday
• Avery has been sleeping in her crib (and sleeping through the night) since she was just before she turned 4 months old!
• Avery’s favorite store is Babies “R” Us- (it should be since we are there enough- and have all the toys to prove it!!)
• Avery’s favorite toy is the Lamaze firefly (she does love her Lily Too!)
• Avery’s favorite past time is playing her “Grand Piano”
• Avery loves to Jumperoo- one day we may see her stuck in the ceiling she jumps so high
• Avery loves to drink out of a “big people cup”… even though she wears most of it
• Avery is the DayCare Star at Mrs. Debbies- everyone just absolutely loves her and the kids just can’t get enough!

All about Avery:

• Avery’s middle name is named after her Grandma Janice
• Avery has eyes just like her mommy, but everyone says she looks like her Daddy
• Avery grunts when she is hungry
• Avery loves to play on her playmat
• Avery’s birthstone is Sapphire
• Avery is a Virgo
• Avery was born on the first day of fall (Funny, because her Grandma Janice was born on the first day of Spring)
• Avery loves to sit up straight to watch what is going on (she even loves to watch the Redskins with her Daddy)
• Avery has a very strong neck and can hold her head up all on her own
• Avery LOVES TO SLEEP (as you can see in her pictures)… but especially loves to sleep and snuggle with her mommy
• Avery’s Best Friend is Lily Ayn and they were born less than 24 hours apart (Lily was born on September 20th)
• Avery falls asleep everytime she goes for a car ride
• Averyis going to be a Pea in the Pod for Halloween
• Avery gained over 2 pounds by her one month check up at the doctor (She LOVES to eat!!!)
• Avery aced her very first test…. she scored a 9 on her Apgar test when she was born
• Avery has long feet and toes
• Avery loves to go on long walks through the neighborhood with Miss Lora and Lily
• Avery loves to go to the mall… and she especially loves nordies - just like her Mema!!!– (”I am having a Nordstrom Baby”) LOL
• Avery gets “milk drunk” everytime she eats…. then becomes the “spit-up” baby- that’s why she is ALWAYS wearing a bib
