This is what we have been lately– busy little bees. We have been enjoying the last few weeks of summer out and about… visiting friends, going to the beach, laying by the pool and having lots of playdates. I took the girls last week to Ocean City to visit Aunt Tracy for an overnight and where I was completely exhausted, the girls had an absolute blast! They enjoyed playtime with Aunt Tracy and their favorite was when we went to dinner and they could play in the sand, eat and get “hand painting” done all at the same time– we went to Fishtails (YUMMY!). Of course, this was followed by Dumser’s Dairyland ice cream and there is nothing better than ice cream!!! Lots of pix were added from our overnight so be sure to check them out!

In the meantime, we do spend a lot of time at the gym. Mommy gets stinky and the girls get lots of energy out in the play area. Avery also took some swimming lessons over the last month and she seems to be doing so much better in the water. She is definitely much more confident when swimming and playing in the pool– she’s turning into quite the little fish!

Now that we are on the brink of fall and getting ready to move into September, we are gearing up for even more changes and fun things to look forward to! Avery will be starting a 3 day a week preschool in about 2 weeks and she is sooooo excited! We will be having a meet and greet with her teacher in the next couple of days and we cannot wait! Dance class also starts up in about a week or so. Avery will be taking a ballet class and tap class on Wednesday nights with her favorite teacher Miss Annette! She certainly will be (as stated above) a Busy little Bee!

Carly will be starting up with some Gymboree classes once Avery’s school starts- and I am really looking forward to some one on one time with my little girl! It’s really nice to have some special time with her, especially since that doesn’t happen all that often! She is growing up way too fast and before I know it, she won’t be my little baby anymore!
I have added some recent pix of the girls over the past month of August… enjoy them and look forward to lots of updates over the next few weeks as September is a very big month for us!
