My sweet, precious baby girl Carly was born!  I can hardly believe how time flies!!!!   It has been amazing watching her grow from baby girl to toddler in what seems like no time at all.  She has her eighteen month doctors appointment on Friday, so i will happily update her “stats” when I get them so that we can see how much she has grown, but let me give you all some other updates to tide you over!   

So,  Carly– (aka- MEEEEEEE)– this is what she calls herself — it’s really cute!!!!  She has become so much more verbal with things lately- expressing her pleasure or displeasure with everything around her.  She will absolutely tell you what she likes and doesn’t like, she will tell you when she is ready for bed and she will tell you when she is hungry by just yelling out “MEEEEEEE”!  It’s freaking adorable!  Her vocabulary is just tremendous right now- as she is adding a few new words each day… and where you may not understand it the first time, she is getting better each time with pronunciation and putting her thoughts together.  You should see the conversations between her and Avery… It’s just hysterical! 

Oh, Did I mention that Avery is Carly’s most favorite person in the whole entire world???  She cannot wait for her to wake up in the mornings and follows her around until she goes to bed!  She loves her more than anything or anyone and misses her terribly when she’s not around.  She walks around the house yelling, SISSY!!!!!  They chat, they fight, they play, they fight, they love each other one minute and are enemies the next… It’s a crazy wonderful relationship. 

Like I said, they have lots of sisterly conversations, but on top of that, Carly mirrors absolutely everything that Avery does.  Both good and bad!  She will sing, dance, and jump around with her sister then follow her to jump down the steps or off of the couch.  I really don’t think that she realizes that she is half of Avery’s age.  I swear the child has NO FEAR!!!  It’s enough to give me a heart attack some days! 

Carly loves watching cartoons, especially ones that have a lot of music with them- her favorite is the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  She likes these because she can dance around to the music and jam out as if she is a teenager!  With her watching the cartoons and listening to different music, she has started to really try to “sing” songs she hears!  You should hear her sing Twinkle Twinkle and the ABC’s.  You have no idea what words are coming out, but she has the melodies just PERFECT!  Maybe she will be the next American Idol! 

It’s hard to imagine that a year and a half ago, I had this teeny tiny baby that I could hold in my arms and now I have this crazy little toddler that just melts my heart with her devilish smile!   I just love me some MEEEEEE!!!!!
