We spent the day relaxing and gearing up for our afternoon cookout!  We had such a blast and were so excited to see so many friends!  We celebrated the 4th with food, fun, and fireworks!  We had a Sprinkler (Sparkler) party out front and the kids were fascinated with them!  Avery was so excited to play with sprinklers (sparklers)- (that’s what Avery calls them) that she touched them— OUCH– and yes, cried because she burned her finger!  We can never go through an entire day without one boo-boo… LOL. 

All in all, our cookout was a great success and I would like to thank all of our friends who came and brought delicious goodies for all to share!  We look forward to making this a tradition!!!
