Christmas came and boy was it Chaos!!!  Santa was sure to come visit- he brought lots and lots of presents for our good little girls!  There was lots of excitement, fun, laughter, and then there were tears…. the excitement was just too much for our babies.  Oh, and did I mention Avery took a helicopter blade to the eye– Fun and Fabulous!!!  Never a holiday without a little bit of drama!!! LOL  I will put up some pix shortly… I am playing catch up with the website at this point! 

We have spent the last few days visiting some friends  (Nancy and “Mokey”- as Avery says) in New York- we took the girls into the city to see the ginormous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and all of the lights!  Avery just loved the tree- Carly loved eating her way through the city!  It was a great trip- but of course no trip comes without a bit of drama– Daddy and Pete went to go skiing on Tuesday- Daddy accidentally took the keys to our car- leaving mommy and Nancy with 2 children with no way to go anywhere or do anything (for what would have been about 9- 10 hours)… Needless to say when daddy figured out that he had the keys (2 1/2 hours into the drive to the mountain),  he and Pete turned around and ended up not able to go skiing– they basically had a 5 hour long heart to heart while driving!  LOL– Ahhh… the lessons we learn!

After a very long drive, we got in late last night and now we are getting ready to ring in the New Year…. 2009 is just a day away- Literally!!!!  A new year brings forth so many things to look forward to- especially when you have 2 little munchkins running around – (and did I mention that not only is Carly walking, but she is moving quickly- she is like superbaby- one minute you see her, the next minute she is truly out of sight and into something she is definitely not supposed to be into– LOL– It’s ok though, the smile she gives makes it all better!!!!).  As you can see, Everyday is something new with them, let alone all that happens in the course of a year!
