So, Friday, September 19th was just another ordinary day….. Or so we thought. Next thing we knew, Carly was being rushed to the hospital by ambulance, then medi-vaced to Childrens National Hospital just a few hours later.  Turns out that the fall she had the day before was a little more serious than we thought and she actually had a severe concussion.  Let’s just say that Mommy and Daddy aged about 20 years in just a few hours. 

We spent the next day recovering and gearing up for Avery’s Birthday on Sunday.  Yep, that’s right– Our little girl is now 2 Years Old!  We celebrated with all of her friends at Build-A-Bear Workshop on Sunday the 21st and everyone had a wonderful time!!  It’s hard to believe all that can happen over the course of 2 years… and look how much she has grown!!!

That following week Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 4 year wedding Anniversary and Daddy’s 31st Birthday- It was nice and relaxing because we celebrated by going to the Atlantis in the Bahamas.  It was a much needed vacation after all that has been going on. 

Now we are getting back into the swing of things and experiencing the funness that comes with having both a 2 year old and a 7 month old– lots of laughter and lots of tears… lol.
