Well, it’s August already- Can you believe it?!?!?! 

Big event from this summer:  Carly got Christened!  On July 27th, carly was the cutest little thing in her Christening gown!  We had a great time and we would like to send a big thank you to everyone that came to share in her special day!!!  We love you all!!!  (I will post pix from the big day as soon as I get them from my photographers — Jessie and Erin– hint hint)!!! LOL

We certainly are enjoying our summer of fun-  Avery loves the Great Outdoors and has a blast going to the pool and running wild in the neighborhood.  She takes a Gymboree class (which she absolutely LOVES!!!) and we have lots of playtime with our friends and family!  She enjoys going to the park and swinging on the swings and riding her new big wheel all over town! 

Baby sister Carly loves to watch her sister and all of the rest of the big kids running and playing and she can hardly wait to join in the fun.  Carly is growing like a weed- she does something new and exciting each and everyday.  Right now, she is “on a roll” – Literally- rolling over all of the time and has also started the “army crawl”…. full mobility is just around the corner!  (Lord, help me!!!!)  She loves to eat- her favorite foods are sweet potatoes and squash- and i can tell you that she wears them well!!! LOL   It is so wonderful and such a blessing to have her– she is the best baby ever!!!!   

Last week we went to Bethany Beach to vacation for a few days with our Grandparents- and we sure had a blast.  The beach and ocean were a big hit— Avery kept calling the ocean a “pool”… Yeppers, that may be the biggest “pool” she ever sees!!!  Needless to say, we had a sand covered weekend full of chaos and fun!!!
