Holy Cow- I can’t believe that we are already into the year 2008!!!  Time sure does fly!  Let’s catch up—-

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday season!  Christmas was a blast- we got to spend lots of time with our family and friends and Santa sure must have thought that we were all very good kids this year- everyone was spoiled rotten!  (Especially you know who!!!!)  Avery has since been playing with a few of her favorite things- (her new baby doll and stroller from Mema and G-Daddy, shopping cart from Aunt Cristy, Uncle GJ, Alex and Nick, the Kitty Piano from Grandaddy D and the massive Dora the Explorer Ball pit from Uncle Matt)…. I honestly think that she has plenty to keep her busy for quite some time!!!

Celebrating New Years was very relaxing- we just laid low (ate lots of brownies and junk food) and rang in the new year by watching the Ball Drop on Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve show– Shortly after midnight, we tucked ourselves in.  Like I said- very relaxing, but it was everything that we thought it would be… (After all, who can stay up past midnight anymore?!?— LOL)

So, now we have moved into the new year- 2008— with much to look forward to– Baby Girl #2 should be arriving within the next few weeks and we are all waiting patiently (well, I am not really being all that patient anymore- more like anxious- LOL) to meet our new little bundle of joy!  The countdown has begun- we have less than 5 weeks to go!!!  I truly CANNOT WAIT!!!!  We are also looking forward to watching Avery continue to grow and become a Big Sister- she is already practicing with her new baby doll and is doing so well with learning how to love the baby and play nice.  Let’s hope that continues when her sister finally arrives!
