We are already into October of 2007 and my goodness have we been busy…. 

First things first, let’s catch up through September… Avery turned the BIG #1 on the 21st, she went to the Doctor on the 24th for her check up -got her 1 year shots, got a fever, and then we spent that night in the ER because she was having febrile seizures (fever induced seizures)- what a day/night that was!!!- our 1st ER trip with the mini Miss- few more grey hairs for us first time parents.  On a lighter note, Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 3rd Wedding Anniversary on the 25th, and then Daddy turned the BIG#30 on the 26th-  Needless to say, that week was exhausting- and saying that may even be an understatement!!!   

The following weekend, Avery partied at her 1st Oktoberfest fiesta at Aunt Jessie’s house and then on Sunday, we took Avery on a field trip to the Aquarium.  We got to see the sting rays, the sharks, the hugemongous turtles, the colorful frogs and fishes, and even took in the Dolphin show.  She had so much fun-it is amazing how much she understands even when she can’t tell you exactly what she is thinking…. she had a great time checking out all of the big fishes and little fishes and running around exploring the Harbor.   Like I said, Crazy Dayzzzzz…..

On our Lazy Dayz, Avery has been spending lots of time playing with all of the fabulous toys that she got for her 1 year BD- making messes with fingerpaints, markers, watercolors; jamming out and dancing to the music from her Leap Frog Boombox, going wild on her Bounce and Spin Zebra and riding around in her new Radio Flyer Tricycle.  We have been enjoying the beautiful weather by having lots of outside playtime, taking strolls around the neighborhood, and trying our best to meet up with family and friends.
