Avery’s 12th Month is coming to a close and in just 7 short days our little girl will be turning ONE!!!! Hard to believe that just a year ago we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of this little bundle of joy…. Time sure does fly… Here are a few updates:ÂÂ

Avery has been walking for about 2 1/2 months now, so she is a veteran as far as that goes. She is drinking out of her sippy cup (and stealing her friends sippy cups too), feeding herself with her fingers and trying very hard to feed herself with a spoon- needless to say, that can get a bit messy. Did I mention she has 5 teefers too!!!

She is slowly but surely learning some words- so far we have mastered “Wow”, “Whoa”, “Mama”, “Dada” and “Uh-Oh”. We are working on our “Hi’s” and “Bye-Bye’s”. ÂÂ

Avery chases Kayla around trying to give her lots of Love (Kayla wants NONE OF IT)… but she does pet her gently while repeating the “AAAHHHH” sound to show that she is trying to be nice. It’s a work in progress and Kayla is absolutely being tortured!!!ÂÂ

We have been having lots and lots of playtime- enjoying the beautiful weather- doing our best to play outside everyday.  Mommy relaxes on our bench while Avery searches for the Perfect Stone and Piece of Mulch— LOL… That’s right- She has more toys than she knows what to do with, but when we go outside DON’T TOUCH HER STONES AND DON’T TAKE AWAY THE MULCH- It’s Serious Business as far as Avery is concerned!!!  Oh well, Kids are gonna get dirty at some time, Avery is just getting dirty a little earlier than most! ÂÂ

So, Like I said, Every Day is something new and we certainly are enjoying each moment with our Big Girl! Hopefully these updates will catch everyone up on things since Mommy has been slacking on the website. (SORRRY!!!!) There are new Pix in the 12 month folder and there will certainly be more to come in the next week as the countdown to ONE Begins….. Only 7 days to go….
