As you can see it has been a while since the website has been updated, but it has been a crazy few weeks. Lots of stuff going on in our house- both good and bad…. Those of you that have talked to me know the bad- (I will spare you all the details again)- but lets just say that Avery hasn’t been feeling great lately.  She’s definitely doing better, but still not 100%.  Things seem to be “moving along” though… which is a good thing!!!

Some good things though…

1st: Avery has started on “big girl” food… Yep,that’s right… eating Gerbers fruits and veggies and loving every second of it… and oh, what a sight that is.  Not sure how she does it, but not only does she get the food in her mouth- but it is in her ears, her hair, in between her fingers, eyelids…. you get the point.  It is the absolute cutest thing, but man its messy!!  So far, her favorite food is squash (definitely not like her mommy or daddy there)… but, she is excited to try anything new- pictures of our messy girl will be in the 6th month folder soon.

2nd:  Her 5 month weigh in was at 15 lbs and 7 oz and she is about 25 inches long…. she sure is growing like a weed… she’s building herself up to get ready to move.  Lord help us when that happens.. it will be quite a chase… this girl is a wild one when she gets going… it’s hysterical!

3rd: Avery sits up all by herself…. we have had some mishaps where she has fallen over, but for the most part she is sitting up all on her own. She is even trying to pull herself up to stand from a sitting position- I swear she really will be moving before we know it!!! Once summer comes, I think we will be getting quite a work out trying to keep up with our little one!!

So Avery fills our house with giggles, smiles, coos and chatter … life sure is good. Its so much fun watching our little girl’s personality come through in the things that she does. She is quite the DIVA- spoiled through and through…. I can’t figure out for the life of me where she gets that from!!!
