Ok… So, the BIG ONE finally came and oh what a sight!!!!  (If you aren’t sure what I am talking about exactly, please read the blog below… you will be caught up!)  So, Avery is feeling much better and things are running smoothly.  BUT, What an adventure!!! Thanks to Aunt Erin for being such a trooper and helping mommy out with the clean up!!!

Monday (after the BIG ONE), we went to visit Santa Claus at the mall.  Avery had her picture taken and was such a good girl!  Avery told Santa exactly what was on her Christmas List and I’m sure she will get all kinds of goodies since she has been such a good girl. 

Tuesday we did some more Christmas shopping- the crowds aren’t that bad, but the malls are definitely packed.  Lots of crazy people are out and about- Tis the season!

Wednesday- not such a fun day for Avery…. here’s where the 4 Little Ones come into play.  Avery had her 2 month Doctor appointment and this meant that she got her 2 month immunization shots.   There were 4 of them and all 4 were NOT NICE.   BUT, they are essential to ensure that Avery doesn’t get sick- which is all that really matters. Poor baby was so exhausted after that, she slept for the rest of the day.

Thursday was a much better day- when she avery woke up, she was all smiles and giggles feeling much better after having such a greuling Wednesday.   Mommy and Avery did more Christmas shopping- we are almost done (thank goodness)- but, Christmas is only 26 days away…. the countdown has begun! Santa Claus is coming to town!!

FUN AVERY UPDATES:

Here are Avery’s 2 month (actually, 10 week) stats: She weighed in at 11 lbs and 12 oz (what a big girl!!!) and is measuring 22 3/4″ in height.   This puts her in the 50th -75th percentile for height and weight.   Her little noodle only measured 15cm, which is in the 25th- 50th percentile…. our little baby girl has a little baby head.   So, everything checked out wonderfully and Dr. Plotnick says that she is the “picture of health”.  Our Avy bug is getting bigger everyday…Mommy and Daddy can’t believe all of the changes… but, what a beautiful girl we have!!!!
