So, this past weekend was a busy one!  On Saturday, Avery got to spend lots of time with her grandparents. In the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy went to the movies and Mema came over to babysit.  They had lots of snuggle time and Mema had fun loving her up!  Then, on Saturday night, Mommy and Daddy went out with friends- they had their first night out without Avery and Grandaddy Duane came over to visit. Grandaddy got to see Avery be a Smiley baby when they played on the playmat.  Avery loves to play on her playmat- she kicks and the toys make noises… its endless fun for her!  The grandparents enjoyed their quality time and both can’t wait to babysit again! (YEAH!!)

On Sunday, we all went over to visit Aunt Terri and Steve.  Aunt Terri had lots of playtime with Avery and soon enough we will have her changing diapers!   On Sunday night, Mommy and Avery went to watch Daddy’s soccer game.   The team won -(and daddy scored a goal)– I think that Avery is their good luck charm!

So, today is Monday and we had to go to the doctor today because Avery was making some strange noises when she laid down flat on her back- (everyone can laugh, but we were being cautious!!!).   Mommy and Daddy (being the neurotic first time parents that they are) were worried that these noises were not normal noises cause it sounded like she was wheezing and having trouble breathing.  Turns out that Avery has reflux and is a “happy spitter”~ what this means is that she is a spit-up baby and the noises that she makes are  in connection with reflux problems.   SO… the doctor gave us some suggestions to help Avery keep her food down and said that otherwise she was the picture of a healthy baby… she even weighed in at 10 lbs and 8 ounces.  Getting bigger everyday!!!
